God always gives abundantly - more than we need for ourselves - that we may have something to share with others, especially those who lack what they need.
Fill me with gratitude for Your blessings and give me a generous heart that I may freely share with others what You have given to me!
Xodus Recovery Community Center (XRCC)
Hope Center of Greater NJ Annual Conference of the UMC
Our mission is to provide non-clinical Recovery Continuum Care through Peer Recovery support for those seeking to access and sustain long term Recovery. XRCC acknowledges that there are multiple pathways to Recovery. By endorsing physical, emotional and spiritual healing we hope to improve conditions necessary for long term recovery success. We are dedicated to helping individuals navigate pathways and to overcome some of the obstacles encountered on the journey to Recovery.

The LORD said, "I have indeed seen the misery of my people. I have heard them crying out."... "I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them"... "and to bring them up out of that place into a good and spacious land"... "so now, go, I am sending you to bring my people out of bondage." And God said, "I will be with you..."

LUMC Small Group Ministries
Letting Our Light Shine
"... equip the Saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ.... speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into Him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by every ligament with which it is equipped, as each part is working properly, promotes the body's growth in building itself up in love." Ephesians 4:12-13, 15-16
Life Groups are groups of members & friends of LUMC who come together to honor the Lord in service and to grow in Christ with the community of believers. We share a sacred space where all can explore their faith and use their gifts and talents to make a difference for Christ. Life Groups are intended to introduce others to Jesus through the witness of community sharing, God's Word and hospitality. Life Groups are Christ centered; community building; and mission engaged groups of people coming together in Christ's love for God's purpose and glory.
The "Life Groups" of LUMC include:
Praise Team, Chimes, SHALOM, Tuesday-Thursday Hot Lunch, Wednesday and Sunday Bible Studies, Joy of the Angels' Thrift Shoppe, Uth Group, Readers Club, and others.
There is a newly forming Men's Fellowship Group! Call the Church Office if you are interested in joining! 609-693-5222
